The Whistler Hall
Situated on the ground floor of the Memorial Hall, the Whistler Hall is our largest venue, measuring approximately 15 metres by 12 metres (50 feet by 40 feet). With a polished wooden floor, it is perfect for all forms of activity, from yoga and dance classes to concerts, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, talks, parties or wedding receptions. The hall can accommodate up to 180 people and has its own kitchen and bar facilities as well as a mezzanine and an external balcony overlooking Pickering Beck. This large hall can be booked for as little as £15 per hour.
The Whistler Hall has adjacent toilet facilities.




To augment your booking, we can provide tables, chairs, staging, lighting, audio-visual, IT and sound systems.............when you make your booking or enquiry, just tell us what you need.
The Beckett Room
The Beckett Room is a quiet space on the first floor of the Memorial Hall, accessible by both lift and stairs. This is the perfect spot for meetings, small group gatherings, small exhibitions and so on. As a meeting room, its capacity is about 15-20, but laid out as a theatre it can seat 30. The Beckett Room has its own kitchen and toilet facilities, so you can be completely self-contained. If you need to use the space for work, we can provide state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment, linked to a large high resolution flat screen, and of course we can also supply tables and chairs to configure the space to your needs. The Beckett Room can be booked for as little as £8 per hour.

The Mill Suite

The Mill Suite sits at the top of the Memorial Hall, with views over the town - yet access is easy via both lift and stairs. Seating up to about 40 people, the Mill Suite, like the smaller Beckett Room, has its own kitchen and toilet facilities and so is also completely self contained. It has a high-resolution flat TV screen that can link to laptops and so can be used for meetings, small group gatherings, small exhibitions and so on. Tables, chairs and so on are supplied with the room and we can augment your needs with audio-visual, IT and video-conferencing technology..............just talk to our Hall Manager when you make your booking. The Mill Suite is available from as little as £10 per hour.
Office Space
The Hall has four offices, of differing sizes, available for hire. Currently, all our office space is occupied, but if you have an interest in perhaps wishing to take one on should it become vacant, just talk to our Hall Manager.
